Hi! I'm Carlisa many know me as Protectedbylisahh_ for my tips on caring for natural hair. 

I began my career in the beauty industry as a braider in 2013 while I was in college & I specialized in protective styles. I noticed a lot of my clients were neglecting their hair by relying on "protective" styles & I wanted to help them learn how to care for & style their hair so they did not have to rely on them. 

In 2019 I made the decision to stop braiding full-time so natural hair care & styling could be my main focus.
